I took this group of pictures (you need to scroll to the right to see the whole thing) from the Pacific Hills condominum complex in the early afternoon in April, 1999 and May, 2001. To the right is the Canal Zone with the former Albrook Air Force Station in the distance and Ancon Hill to its left. The high rise condominiums of Punta Paitilla are to the left of the picture. In the middle in the distance is the Amador causeway and the island of Taboga beyond that. I have some pictures of the ashen remains of the Balboa Yacht Club if you want to get depressed looking at them.
